Refunds
Two products, two windows, because they fail in different ways and you find out on different timescales.
Forge Tweaks — 72 hours
If Forge Tweaks doesn’t work on your PC, email support@forgetweaks.com within 72 hours of buying and we’ll refund you.
“Doesn’t work” means what you’d expect: it won’t install, it won’t run, it errors out, or it ran and your benchmark numbers didn’t move. You don’t need to prove any of that with screenshots — tell us what happened and we’ll take it from there.
72 hours is short on purpose, and it is short because it is enough. The software benchmarks your machine before it changes anything and again afterwards, so you know inside an hour of installing whether it did something. There is also a free tier that does the measuring before you spend anything. If you buy, run it, and it works — that is the product doing exactly what the page said it would.
FrameForge — 4 days, while it’s in early access
FrameForge gets a longer window: 4 days. All we ask is that you tell us what went wrong — which game, which server, what you saw.
That isn’t a hoop to jump through. FrameForge is early access and a specific report is worth more to us than the $17: it is how the next build gets fixed. One honest paragraph is plenty. We have never refused a refund over the quality of someone’s feedback and we don’t intend to start.
When FrameForge leaves early access this window changes, and this page will say so before it does.
How to ask
Email support@forgetweaks.com from the address you bought with, or include your order number. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within a few business days depending on your bank. We issue them ourselves through Stripe, and Forge Tweaks is the name you’ll see on the reversal — the same name as on the original charge.
Cancelling a monthly plan
Cancel any time and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. We don’t pro-rate part-months, and we don’t charge you again after you cancel. A lifetime licence has nothing to cancel — it does not renew.
When we may decline
We may refuse where a licence has been shared, resold or published, or where someone is repeatedly buying and refunding. That is about abuse, not about you changing your mind.
We may also decline a refund purely because you decided you’d rather not have it after it worked. Both products are digital, you keep the download, and the honest version of that is a policy that says so rather than one that pretends otherwise.
Your rights are bigger than this policy
The 72-hour and 4-day windows above are something we offer, in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. They do not replace those rights, limit them, or set a deadline on them.
If you are a consumer, the software comes with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or a refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Those rights are not limited to 72 hours or 4 days, and they do not depend on you having sent us feedback. Nothing on this page or in our terms changes that.
If we and you disagree about whether something is a major failure, you can take it to the ACCC or your state consumer affairs office. We would rather sort it out by email first.
If you are outside Australia, your local consumer law may give you similar or greater rights, and we will honour those too.
